How does my blood pressure monitor work?
Your blood pressure monitor relies on a Bluetooth connection to transmit your blood pressure readings to the Babyscripts app.
How do I set up my blood pressure monitor?

I've followed the instructions and successfully paired my blood pressure monitor with my phone. Do I need to do this every time I check my blood pressure?
Nope – once you pair your blood pressure monitor to your phone via Bluetooth, your phone should recognize the device whenever you come back to take a blood pressure reading in the future.
How often should I use my blood pressure monitor?
You can check your blood pressure as often as you'd like! We recommend checking your blood pressure at least once a week to ensure your care team is kept up to date in between appointments.
How accurate is my blood pressure monitor?
Babyscripts' blood pressure monitors are clinically validated for accuracy and are easy to use and understand. To ensure the most accurate readings, please follow the in-app instructions for placing the cuff on your arm. When possible, position the cuff directly on your arm and not over any thick clothing (e.g. jackets, sweaters).
My blood pressure monitor has stopped transmitting my readings to my app. What should I do?
As a first step, we suggest forgetting and re-pairing your blood pressure monitor with your phone's Bluetooth. A few things that may also help are:
- Pop out the batteries from the blood pressure monitor for 30 seconds and re-insert them
- Turn your Bluetooth off, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on
